Riia Sillave, Chairman of the Board of HHLA TK Estonia: “Our thoughts are with the Ukrainian people and our colleagues from the Odessa sister terminal CTO. Fortunately, the terminal has not been hit by attacks thus far. To our knowledge, none of the 480 employees at the terminal have been injured. We want them to be safe and healthy.
As a company, we want to help those who are on their way to a safer place away from the war. We have made a donation to the Red Cross organisation and Pagulasabi MTÜ (Estonian Refugee Council). We also call on other companies, organisations, and all people to support the people of Ukraine in the current difficult situation. This can be done via the Internet (www.ukrainaheaks.ee/, redcross.ee/anneta/ukraina/), as well as by donating the necessary items to the Red Cross.
The HHLA TK Estonia terminal is working normally, ensuring smooth movement of goods and materials thanks to fast customer service. The terminal is ready to react flexibly to changes caused by sanctions.
Peace must prevail. We hope it arrives soon.”
