HHLA TK Estonia Participated in this year’s Logistics Seminar, focused on resilience during crises

HHLA TK Estonia was proudly represented at the Logistics Seminar held on April 3, 2025, where the central theme was the resilience of the logistics sector. The seminar is organized annually by third-year students of the Logistics Institute at the Tallinn University of Applied Sciences.

HHLA TK Estonia took part in the seminar, which was held at the Tallinn Cruise Terminal, both with its own exhibition booth and in a panel discussion. Board member Andres Uusoja participated in the discussion titled “The Transformation of Import and Export Amidst Various Crises,” where he exchanged views with Swedbank’s economic analyst Tõnu Mertsina, Greete Orgusaar, Head of Operations at Balti Logistika, and LHV’s economic expert Heido Vitsur. The panelists discussed the impact of recent crises – the pandemic and geopolitical tensions – on international supply chains and import-export dynamics. They shared experiences and best practices on how companies adapt flexibly in changing conditions.

At the HHLA TK Estonia booth and on display screens, seminar attendees were introduced to the terminal’s operations as well as job and internship opportunities. A fun online quiz proved to be popular among students.

According to the seminar’s organizing team, preparing such a major event provided students with valuable skills and the opportunity to build networks with top professionals in the field – all with the goal of strengthening the future potential of the entire logistics sector.
