HHLA TK Estonia Intern Receives National Recognition
HHLA TK Estonia intern Lasse Leminsky has been awarded the title of Best International Student Intern at the Estonian Employers’ Confederation’s competition “Best Internship 2025.” Lasse completed his internship with us as part of the Global Estonian 2025 programme.
During his internship, Lasse Leminsky, a first-year student of International Business and Logistics at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, took part in the preparation of a business continuity risk analysis and plan, assessed risks to critical services, and made proposals to ensure operational sustainability. In addition, he gained a comprehensive overview of the work of all port departments and contributed to the organisation of an internal company event.
Lasse Leminsky was supervised by Riia Sillave, Chair of the Management Board of HHLA TK Estonia. The internship of the student from Hamburg, Germany, was supported by the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV) and the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The competition, organised by the Estonian Employers’ Confederation and held for the 10th time this year, attracted a record 104 internship and intern applications from across Estonia.
