German Parliament's German-Baltic Friendship Group visits Estonia and tours Muuga terminal
A delegation of the German Parliament's German-Baltic Friendship Group visited Estonia and Latvia with the aim to strengthen parliamentary dialogue and regional cooperation.
During their visit to Estonia, the delegation toured the Muuga terminal, where HHLA TK Estonia presented its operations and role in supporting reliable logistics networks across Northern Europe. HHLA TK Estonia is part of HHLA, one of Europe’s largest logistics groups, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany.
The delegation was led by Bettina Hagedorn, Chair of the German-Baltic Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Bundestag, who underlined during the visit that German parliamentarians stand wholeheartedly alongside the Baltic countries.
She also noted that security and resilience are among the most important issues for the region, discussed in Tallinn during meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Parliament.
